As part of my 365 Day to Fit, I walk three days a week, adding another half mile each week. Wednesday and Friday are fine because I can put Karen and Jeannette in the double stroller and go. We did a basic color blind test after school today. If you remember your squares, you'll remember that the only way for a girl to be color blind is if her father is color blind and her mother's father is as well. This morning, I was in the girls' closet picking out clothes when I heard Karen speaking behind me. Without turning to look at her, I clearly heard her say: "I got it!! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! I. Got. It. I. Got. It!" I turned around to see that she'd climbed onto Laura's bed and gotten a stuffed animal. I was surprised to realize that she spoke so clearly. It's very exciting!

She enjoyed this immensely, and didn't want to stop when it was time to come back inside. I think, though, that soon Laura will need a bike with training wheels and Karen will be ready for the trike.
