Family date: Arkadia

Daddy taught the kids how to play Battleship. Mommy taught them how to play Scrabble. 

Daddy's boy

I watched as Monkey got the PS3 controller and crawled up onto the couch. He looked at the tv as he started pushing buttons. 

"What are you doing?"

"Car. Gay."

"You're playing a car game?"

"Yes." He pointed at the blank tv and nodded. Then, he sat there pushing buttons and staring at the blank screen for five minutes. 

Big kid games

Keith and I have the Elementary Activity Time on Sunday nights. The kids don't mind occasionally playing other games, but their favorites are Super Tag and Duck, Duck, Goose.

They love it so much, that David has started wandering around our house saying "du du du du doo!" He hadn't convinced his sisters to play it with him yet, though.
