Christmas Delayed

We packed up Thanksgiving decorations today. The girls helped me.

LF: After we put up Thanksgiving, are we going to get out Christmas?

A: No. We're skipping Christmas this year.

LF: What?! No! It's my favorite!

LB: I promise to obey!

See that white dot in the patch of green? That'd be my eleven month old firecracker trying to go play with the big boys setting off fountains and shooting Roman candles at passing cars. Laura is walking around the neighborhood with Daddy, handing out sparklers like a good little socialite. Karen is tucked up in the couch, watching Nemo safely away from the loud noises.
