Sharing is Caring

LadyBug and Monkey are taking turns picking what they watch. 

LadyBug: It's your turn.

Monkey: What you want?

LadyBug: What do I want? No, it's your turn. 

Monkey: Me know. But what you want?

They melt my heart when they're like this. 

Theology of an eight year old

Frog: I have a big, big, big circle. Bigger than everything but God because nothing is bigger than God. It's a pizza. I'm going to eat my piece. Yum, yum, yum. Are you done with your piece, God? He said His piece is more than enough. He is giving some to us. But, God! I'm full! I had enough. Oh, He's giving me more anyway because He loves me.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is grace.

KJ: I more juice, please? A: No. But you can have some water. L: Or maybe I can pour some of my juice into Karen's cup and share with her.

Sharing

Yesterday the girls and I had a talk about sharing being the best part of having a sister. It went well. A little too well. Today, I had to say: "We can share clothes, shoes, toys. But not panties." "But, Mommy, you said we can share everything!" "Everything but panties. That's gross." "Oh."
