Pushing Buttons

I picked up Little Monkey from daycare. In the five minutes it took to get out to the car, he had been clearly defiant several times. As I buckled him in, I asked, "Son, are you pushing my buttons?" He immediately replied, "Yes." He then proceeded to touch each of the buttons on my sweater. "Four, six, four, six, four, six."

What's the definition of a toddler? "emotionally unstable pint-sized dictator with the uncanny ability to know exactly how far to push you towards utter insanity before reverting to a lovable cuddle-monster."
