The next stage of development

Little Frog is at a great stage of development. Since she became a decent reader AND got saved last year, whenever she is stressed, upset, tired, angry, or any other negative emotion, I send her to spend some alone time with the Bible. She's been reading through Psalms whenever she's upset and another chapter of Genesis each day, on her own.

I am really enjoying watching her absorb the Word and let it start changing her bit by bit. I'm praying her hunger for the Word continues to grow daily and that she will always run to it first.

Bedtime conversation

"But, Mommy! I asked Jesus to clean my heart, but every day I keep doing bad things, so I have to keep asking and asking."
Ah!! Yay! Mini study on human design and eternal security! And we ended with, "So, I have a clean soul and spirit, but a yucky body, so I'll go to Heaven." Yes. "And now I have a choice to do good or bad." Yes. "But David always does bad because he doesn't have a choice because he's all bad." Haha. Yes. "Ok. So I won't ask Jesus to clean me anymore." Right. Now, you just ask Him to help you make the right choice, and forgive you when you make the wrong one. "Ok. I can sleep now."

Instruction in sound doctrine.

Monkey led me into the television room. I glanced at what the girls were watching.
"All Dogs Go To Heaven?"
"Yeah, I hadn't actually watched this before," my sister replied.
"No, Mom," Little Frog piped up. "Dogs can't go to Heaven because they don't have souls and can't trust Jesus." Aunt Zizi and I just looked at each other and then both reached over to give Frog high fives. "Good job, girlfriend."

Laura found a Bible to read...

...When I cleaned out the car's trunk. This is my church/Bible study Bible.
