Mimicry

I took the kids out of bath, wrapped them in towels, and told them to don their pajamas and crawl into bed. I left to clean the kitchen. I came back a few minutes later to find Frog putting on deodorant, Bug combing her hair, and Monkey brushing his teeth. They looked so much like grown-ups getting ready for work that my heart burst. Frog turns seven next week, and I'm not sure I'm ready for that.
