Family vacation

The girls got little activity booklets called "My favorite vacation" with lots of places to draw or write answers to questions. They both picked our trip to New York for my thirtieth birthday. Laura says the best part of her vacation was Brenda babysitting her. Karen says the best part was eating ice cream. How typical that Laura is person oriented and Karen is food oriented. When it got to "here are some fun things I did on my vacation," Laura listed "see a princess castle" (in Central Park). Karen listed "eat hotdogs on the train (subway)." So much for all the money we spent going to the zoo and various museums.
