A Manly Date

Daddy took Monkey on a date. They got hair cuts, got an oil change and tire rotation on the car, and had ChickFilA for lunch. Monkey is very, very happy about his day with his daddy.

Baldie Boys

Monkey got a head shave today. Now he is twinkles with Grandad and Uncle Paul!

They might be slightly more thrilled about this than he is.

New Haircuts

Laura finally gave in and cut her hair shirt. Karen got hers reshaped a bit.

First Cut

Scissor Safety

This morning I cut Karen's bangs. This is not an unheard of occurrence; it happens every couple of months at our house. I sat Karen on the counter, laid out the scissors and comb, and then began.

The first step is gathering all the bangs that have already been cut. And then, combing them out. As I was doing this, Karen picked up the scissors. And cut a hole in my second favorite sweater.
