All four kids are down for a nap.
Laura is singing a song about how much she loves mommy and daddy (while looking at one of our engagement pictures).
Karen is crying because her flower blankey is in the washer since she peed on it last night.
Jeannette is playing with anything she can reach from the packNplay (which is pretty much just the front door and the porch light switch.
And David was laughing a minute ago, but is crying now; he's probably stuck standing up and can't sit back down again.

Can I risk falling asleep yet?

Nap time

Laura's not too sneaky yet. She hasn't figured out that I can't hear her leave my bedroom when I'm watching a movie, so she always comes and tells me why she's leaving bed. If she wouldn't tell me, she could get away with watching lots of tv while sitting at the end of the hall. I hope this innocence lasts a long time.

Yes, Laura is asleep in the middle of the Living Room floor. Do I care? No. This is her first nap in a week.

At nap, I lay down with my back to Laura. She cried, "No! I want cuddle your face!!"
